Initially we bought a small resort hotel in the Dominical area that we ran ourselves for about 18 months. During that time, we saw an ever increasing number of tourists. After we sold the hotel, we purchased our first Punta Dominical property at Canto del Mar and have done very well with that. When Marisol got going, I was recruited to join the sales team for the Marisol launch and was involved in the largest number of sales in Dominical history, 30 units in 4 hours! We now manage the Sales Office and are co-Sales Directors for Marisol. John and I own 2 Marisol units and have received several offers to buy them at significant premiums. John and I just love it here. And we believe in the Dominical area enough to make it our home and to own property. We believe Marisol will do extremely well in the years to come. The location, the ocean views, the building design are all top notch. As far as an investment goes, Dominical is a blue chip location and is very well positioned for the future. With the new highway coming down from Quepos and the international airport in Palmar Norte slated for 2010 - 2011, Dominical is poised for expansion. Even better, there just isn't much supply of quality real estate like Marisol in Dominical right now.
